Ben Roethlisberger and wife Ashley expecting first child later this year.
Break out the Rosetta Stone for babies, because Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is about to be a father as he and his wife Ashley announced via his website today that the two are expecting their first child, a baby boy, later this year.

Roethlisberger had to take a personal day off from the latest OTA session that wrapped up this past week, and odds are he was at the doctors\’ office with his wife.
Roethlisberger married Ashley Harlan in July of last year and this will be the couples first child together.
Roethlisberger is expected to be at mandatory mini-camp next week before heading off to Ireland and Scotland, where he will play some of the finest and most difficult golf courses in the world. There is no word if any of these plans have changed, or if Ashley will be accompanying him on the trip now that she is pregnant.
