Season 2, Episode 80 of The Terrible Podcast is up and David Todd is working on his birthday. Happy birthday, David. We get right back into the hot topics that include the Pittsburgh Steelers salary cap problems coming right into line after the restructuring on Thursday of the contract of quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. I give you the up to date numbers of where the Steelers sit cap wise and we discuss what makes Omar Khan so great and such an asset to the Steelers. You might be surprised at what that exactly is. We move on with a little talk about the comments that general manager Kevin Colbert made at the NFL combine on Thursday and slide off of that into more talk on Mike Wallace. We hit on a few topics going on around the league and discuss the possibility of head to head races at the combine in the future between draft hopefuls. David is really excited about that.
In part 2 of the podcast I welcome back my good friend Mark Kaboly from the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. Mark and I also talk about some of the things Colbert said on Thursday and further break down the Wallace pending free agency situation. I also get updates from Mark on the health of Casey Hampton and we discuss his future heading into the 2012 season. We move on to talk about Aaron Smith and where he may or may not be in his decision making process. Will the Steelers make it for him? We have the same kind of talk about Chris Kemoeatu and Hines Ward in addition. A lot of good insight as usual from Mark and we are glad he always makes time to come on the podcast.
