The Pittsburgh Steelers hit the field on Wednesday in preparation for their week 17 game this coming Sunday against the Cleveland Browns. The first injury report of the week has been released and it shows that linebacker James Harrison (neck), guard Doug Legursky (shioulder), running back Mewelde Moore (knee) and safety Troy Polamalu (knee) all did not practice today. Both Moore and Legursky have already been ruled out by Mike Tomlin on Tuesday. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (ankle), center Maurkice Pouncey (ankle), wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders (foot) and linebacker Chris Carter (hamstring) all practiced fully today and Pouncey said before practice that he expects to play Sunday. Linebacker LaMarr Woodley (hamstring) and wide receiver Mike Wallace (ankle) were both limited on Wednesday. Woodley did not seem to optimistic earlier in the day about playing this week.
For the Browns on Wednesday, guard Shawn Lauvao (ankle), fullback Owen Marecic (ankle) and cornerback Dimitri Patterson (hand) practiced fully. Defensive lineman Scott Paxson (hand, calf), wide receiver Josh Cribbs (groin), running back Peyton Hillis (elbow), linebacker Kaluka Maiava (hand) and wide receiver Mohamed Massaquoi (foot) were limited today. Linebacker Quinton Spears (head), quarterback Colt McCoy (concussion), wide receiver Jordan Norwood (concussion) and tackle Tony Pashos (illness) all sat out today.
