Season 2, Episode 48 of The Terrible Podcast is up and David Todd and I open with the Steelers Friday injury report as they get set to take on the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday night at Arrowhead Stadium. After that we move on to recap what we saw in the three Thanksgiving day games and give our thoughts on the actions of Ndamukong Suh yesterday that led to his ejection in the Lions game against the Packers. We both agree that his actions are far more egregious than anything that James Harrison has done and give our thoughts on what type of discipline Suh should receive and how it could end up costing the Lions a spot in the playoffs. We talk briefly about the Cowboys win against the Dolphins and spend a little extra time on the Ravens win over the 49ers and how it effects the Steelers.
We get back into some talk about the Steelers by discussing the demotion of Chris Kemoeatu in favor of Doug Legursky at left guard. We both certainly understand the move, but do not consider it a huge upgrade. We talk a little more about how many snaps Hines Ward might see with Emmanuel Sanders expected back this week. We move on to previewing the game against the Chiefs and cover a few things the Steelers must do not to have a repeat of what happened the last time the Steelers visited Kansas City.
We close the show with our weekly look at the other games around the NFL in week 12 and make our picks against the lines. We get a good chuckle out of the Michael Silver article out today on Browns quarterback Colt McCoy when we get to that game. 50 plus minutes went by fast in this episode and we certainly had a few good laughs in it. We will be back on Monday to hopefully recap a big Steelers win over the Chiefs.
