The Steelers got a Thanksgiving day practice in on Thursday in preparation for their Sunday night game against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Thursday injury report is out and it shows that once again linebacker LaMarr Woodley (hamstring) was limited for a second straight day. It is looking very likely that he will miss his third straight game Sunday night since he injured his hamstring against the Patriots. Wide receiver Arnaz Battle (hamstring) and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (thumb) both worked fully after being limited on Wednesday. Safety Troy Polamalu (ribs) and wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders (knee) both practiced fully again on Thursday and offensive coordinator Bruce Arians said earlier today that Sanders would definitely play Sunday night. Linebacker Stevenson Sylvester (calf) was added to the injury report after he did not practice Thursday with a calf injury.
For the Chiefs on Thursday, linebacker Demorrio Williams (groin) and defensive end Glenn Dorsey (knee) were both limited after working fully on Wednesday. Safety Jon McGraw (shoulder) practiced fully for a second straight day. Guard Ryan Lilja (head) was ruled out for Sunday night on Wednesday.
