We already reported that wide receivers Dorin Dickerson and Juaquin Iglesias were scheduled to work out for the Steelers yesterday and it appears they were joined by a couple of more recently released players as tight end Jeff Dugan and offensive lineman Donald Thomas were also on the South Side yesterday according to Jim Wexell.
Dugan was recently waived by the Vikings and is a Pittsburgh native where he attended Central Catholic High School. He was drafted by the Vikings in the 7th round of the 2004 draft. During his career he has 27 catches to his credit for 191 yards and was mostly used as a blocking tight end. Thomas is a guard who was released by the Lions this past week. Thomas was drafted by the Dolphins in the 6th round of the 2008 draft. The Steelers also worked out Thomas last September, but never signed him.
