Ed Bouchette reports this morning that both Jonathan Scott and Marcus Gilbert have both had MRI tests on their respective injured knees and it revealed that neither of them have any ligament damage. Scott was injured on the first play from scrimmage against the Eagles on Thursday night as the pile rolled into his knee. The knee bent backwards and Scott limped pretty bad getting off the field.
Gilbert replaced Scott at left tackle and finished out the opening scoring drive. He did not return after he reportedly hyperextended his knee as well. Gilbert tweeted after the game that he would indeed be fine.
Tony Hills and Kyle Jolly finished the night at left tackle.
The Steelers will be back at practice today and Sunday and they reportedly will have Monday off as they prepare to take on the Falcons this next weekend.
