ESPN reporter Chris Mortensen reports that it appears likely that wide receiver Plaxico Burress will meet with both the Giants and the Steelers later this week according to team and league sources.
Burress reportedly will have dinner with Giants head coach Tom Coughlin on Friday night and the plans are for Burress to then fly to Pittsburgh to meet with Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin.
It is believed that Burress is seeking a two-year $10 million contract, according to reports, after he served a two-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to weapons charges. Burress is represented by super agent Drew Rosenhaus.
