Steelers strong safety Troy Polamalu and outside linebacker James Harrison were named to the Associated Press All-Pro first-team on Monday. It was the 3rd time for Polamalu in his career.

The Steelers are also scheduled to practice Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of this week and fly to Dallas on Monday. Mike Tomlin won’t meet reporters until Wednesday.

Steelers inside linebacker Lawrence Timmons joined ESPN Radio to talk about the defensive effort against the Jets. He also said he expects the Packers to throw more than the Jets did and also talks about Ben Roethlisberger and Troy Polamalu.

The retractable roof at $1.3 billion Cowboys Stadium will be closed for Super Bowl XLV according to a release by NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy on Monday.
