Steelers Jets Week 15 Thursday Practice Injury Report

The Steelers practiced again on Thursday in preparation for their week 15 game on Sunday against the New York Jets. There was bad news on Thursday as TE Heath Miller (concussion) was added back to the injury report after sitting out with post concussion headaches. This Thursday post concussion setback might sideline him again on Sunday. WR Hines Ward (not injury related) was removed from the injury report after his day off on Wednesday. DT Steve McLendon (stinger) did not practice Thursday and was also added to the injury report today. S Troy Polamalu (ankle) and LB James Harrison (illness) were the other two sitting out again on Thursday. Polamalu still is limping but is expected to be ready Sunday. Harrison should be fine by Sunday as well. T Flozell Adams (ankle) and CB Bryant McFadden (hamstring) practiced fully Thursday after both sat out on Wednesday. DE Aaron Smith (triceps) of course has long been ruled out this week.

For the Jets on Thursday CB Darrelle Revis (hamstring) was limited on Thursday and added to the injury report. He insist he will play on Sunday. S Eric Smith (concussion) and RT Damien Woody (knee) were ruled out for Sunday as both sat out again. Dwight Lowery would start in Smith\’s place, and either Lowery or Brodney Pool would call the signals for the secondary. S James Ihedigbo (ankle/knee) did not practice again on Thursday, but did stretch and took part in position drills. DT Trevor Pryce (hip) did not work Thursday and his status remains up in the air. C Nick Mangold (shoulder), DL Sione Pouha (finger), WR Brad Smith (hand), RB LaDainian Tomlinson (non-injury related) and FB Tony Richardson (non-injury related) practiced fully on Thursday.
