At the snap of the 1st sack, center Maurkice Pouncey and left guard Chris Kemoeatu have Richard Seymour well under control. Right tackle Flozell Adams has Trevor Scott under control pretty good, but Kamerion Wimbley easily blows by left tackle Jonathan Scott to force quarterback Ben Roethlisberger to step way up into the pocket. Right guard Ramon Foster carries Tommy Kelly off to the left nicely. Adams still thinks Ben is deeper and Trevor just slides off laterally to track down Ben for the sack. The charge really goes to Jonathan here, but Adams could of engaged Trevor a little better. A third of this sack goes on Jonathan and the other quarter on Adams.
On the 2nd sack it looks like the play design is a quick play action and deep ball to Mike Wallace. Right tackle Flozell Adams never even thinks about Lamarr Houston as it appears his job is to sell a run inside. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger carries out great play action to the left with running back Isaac Redman and tight end Heath Miller barely touches Houston on his way out on a safety valve route. Roethlisberger sees that Wallace is covered deep and Quentin Groves has Miller covered underneath. Houston easily tracks down Roethlisberger who tries to duck him for a coverage sack. No blame on Adams here as he was doing his job so it seems Miller was as well. Miller probably could have chipped on Houston a bit better though.
