Steelers President Art Rooney II said the team would support linebacker James Harrison in the appeal of his $75,000 fine. Rooney told the paper that he thinks Harrison\’s play against Massaquoi was a “football play;” and while he understands the league\’s concern that Harrison seemed to be launching himself, he thought the play was borderline.
Steelers running back Isaac Redman is in line for more carries starting Sunday in Miami and will be used as the primary runner late in games to ease the workload of starter Rashard Mendenhall.
Nick Eason told The Beaver County Times on Thursday that he will start Sunday at right defensive end in place of injured Brett Keisel. Ziggy Hood will see plenty of snaps there as well.
