As expected Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger had his suspension lowered from 6 to 4 games after his meeting in New York with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell this morning. Roethlisberger is eligible to return during the Steelers bye week in week 5 and now should be back in uniform week 6 versus the Cleveland Browns. According to NFL spokesman Greg Aiello, the suspension reduction is contingent on Roethlisberger\’s continued adherence to the program and guidelines that the league has set out for him, and on no further personal conduct violations occur. “You have told me and the Steelers that you committed to making better decisions,” Goodell told Roethlisberger, per Aiello. “Your actions over the past several months have been consistent with that promise and you must continue to honor that commitment.”
