Morning practice was short session.
Morning was an hour long special teams practice.
Running backs coach Kirby Wilson says rookie Jonathan Dwyer will have a featured role in Saturday\’s game versus the Lions.
Kirby says Dwyer has to be more consistent and needs to be more productive in special teams, pass protection and be accountable in pass routes. He came here as a one dimensional running back.
Jason Worilds not working thus far in afternoon session.
All quarterbacks working today as Byron Leftwich returned to practice today after having Monday off to rest his arm.
Matt Spaeth (undisclosed) and James Harrison (shoulder) not fully practicing today as well to this point.
Tony Hills (ankle) and Steve McLendon (MCL) remain sidelined.
Worilds is now present for backs on backers drill.
