Falcons Lose 3rd Player In Babineaux For Week One Game Versus Steelers

Week one of the 2010 NFL season is still several weeks off, but the Steelers opponent, the Atlanta Falcons, lost their third player for the opening game as defensive tackle Jonathan Babineaux has been suspended without pay for the team’s first regular-season game. Babineaux was suspended for one game by the league office on Tuesday for violating the NFL’s policy and program for substance abuse. Earlier in the offseason, linebacker Robert James and offensive lineman Quinn Ojinnaka were suspended for the Steelers game as well for separate incidents The Steelers of course will be minus quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who is currently set to miss at least the first four games to start the season.
