Ben Roethlisberger has reportedly completed his behavioral evaluation, and he and the Steelers now await word from the NFL on when he can return to full participation training with the team. The evaluation ordered by commissioner Roger Goodell was completed last week but Roethlisberger could have receive further evaluation or treatment.

The weekly entertaining and informative Steelers chat transcript with Ed Bouchette is up now on the Post-Gazette. Ed says talks with kicker Jeff Reed and a new contract should resume June 1st.

Mildred Harrison, the mother of linebacker James Harrison, was found guilty of the misdemeanor charge stemming from a fight at a Veterans of Foreign Wars and ordered to pay $343 in fines and obey all laws for a year.

Wide receiver Limas Sweed cleared waivers after being released injured on Monday. He was then placed on the reserve/injured list Tuesday. This means he will likely be released when his rehab is over from a ruptured left Achilles tendon and his career with the Steelers is now likely over. Going into Monday, Sweed had one year left on his rookie contract, but the release may have indeed voided that.

Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin will be the featured keynote speaker at the one-day USA Football clinic, which is set for Saturday, May 22, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the team headquarters at the UPMC Sports Performance Complex.
