The Steelers will announce on Thursday afternoon that unrestricted free agent defensive end Nick Eason has re-signed with the team. Eason started five games in 2009 for the Steelers when starter Aaron Smith went down with injury. Eason\’s agent David Wyatt said Wednesday night, “He wanted to stay in Pittsburgh because of his love of the city and the team.” Eason visited the Arizona Cardinals this offseason, but did not receive an offer. Eason turns 30 in May and will compete for a roster spot in training camp.
