The Steelers began practice preparations on Wednesday for the Sunday game versus the Oakland Raiders. Quarterback Charlie Batch (wrist), defensive end Travis Kirschke (calf) and safety Troy Polamalu (knee) did not practice at all today because of injuries. Linebacker James Farrior (not injury related) and wide receiver Hines Ward (not injury related) had a veterans day off and will practice Thursday. Guard Chris Kemoeatu (knee) and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (head) both practiced fully today.
For the Raiders on Wednesday, Running back Justin Fargas (neck) and linebacker Isaiah Ekejiuba (knee) practiced fully. Defensive end Greg Ellis (knee) and wide receiver Nick Miller (shin) did not practice.
