The Steelers wrapped up practice preparations on Friday for the Sunday versus the Oakland Raiders at Heinz Field. Quarterback Charlie Batch (wrist), defensive end Travis Kirschke (calf) and safety Troy Polamalu (knee) all sat out practice again as expected. Batch and Polamalu have both been listed as out on the injury report while Kirschke is listed as doubtful. It is almost certain that he will not play and will be replaced by Nick Eason in the starting lineup. Guard Chris Kemoeatu (knee) and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (head) both practiced fully for a 3rd straight day and are both listed as probable on the injury report. Both should start baring a setback from now until game time.
For the Raiders on Friday, linebacker Isaiah Ekejiuba (knee), running back Justin Fargas (neck) and linebacker David Nixon (illness) all practiced fully and are listed as probable on the injury report. Defensive end Greg Ellis (knee) and wide receiver Nick Miller (shin) both sat a 3rd straight day. Ellis is listed as doubtful, while Miller is listed as out for Sunday.
