The Steelers wrapped up practice preparations for the short week on Wednesday and will now fly to Cleveland for the Thursday night game versus the Browns. Safety Troy Polamalu (knee) did not practice once again as expected and has been listed as out on the injury report. Wide receiver Hines Ward (hamstring) was limited on Wednesday and is officially questionable on the injury report. Ward will be a game time decision, but will likely sit out as a precaution. The Steelers signed wide receiver Tyler Grisham from the practice squad as depth in case Ward can not go. Cornerback William Gay (head) is questionable as well after practicing fully for a second consecutive day. If Gay does not play, rookie Joe Burnett will likely get the start in his place. Quarterback Charlie Batch (wrist) and running back Rashard Mendenhall (ankle) both practiced fully on Wednesday and both are listed as probable. Batch in all likelihood will be the inactive #3 quarterback, while Mendenhall should be good to go.
Browns report coming.
