Mike Tomlin addressed the left knee injury to strong safety Troy Polamalu on Tuesday during his press conference. Tomlin said the injury is not a re-injury and this time it is a PCL strain. The injury earlier in the year was an MCL injury. Polamalu was deemed questionable at best this week and will likely be held out versus Kansas City on Sunday. Tomlin said the news on him is encouraging medically. Other injury updates were cornerback Keenan Lewis with a rib injury. Tomlin also said defensive end Travis Kirschke (calf) and fullback Carey Davis (hamstring) are scheduled to work in individual drills on Wednesday to see where they are at health wise.
