Steelers Bengals Week 3 Thursday Practice Injury Report – Carter Limited

Steelers Safety Tyrone Carter (thigh) was limited in practice on Thursday after sitting out on Wednesday, and is hopeful to work fully on Friday in order to be ready for Sunday. Wide receiver Limas Sweed (foot) and linebacker Lawrence Timmons (ankle) practiced fully for the second strait day and baring any set backs, both should be a go for Sunday. Defensive end Aaron Smith (not injury related) and wide receiver Hines Ward (not injury related) both practiced fully on Thursday after having their normal day off on Wednesday. Safety Troy Polamalu (knee) has long been ruled out this week as he recovers from his MCL sprain.

For the Bengals, cornerback Johnathan Joseph (ankle) and guard Nate Livings (knee) both were limited in practice again on Thursday after being limited on Wednesday. Wide receiver Chris Henry (quadricep), cornerback David Jones (foot) and running back Cedric Benson (ankle) all were limited as well on Thursday after being sidelined yesterday. Defensive tackle Jonathan Fanene was added to the injury report after missing Thursday with an illness. Tackle Andre Smith (foot) remains sidelined and has already been ruled out for Sunday.
