The Carolina Panthers made a last minute claim of Steelers rookie defensive end Ra\’Shon Harris on Sunday. Harris will now be a member of the Panthers 53 man roster, but will likely be inactive on Sunday versus the Philadelphia Eagles. Harris was drafted in the 6th round and 205th overall pick. He had rough start in camp after suffering a groin injury, but recovered quickly to see time in all 4 Steelers pre-season games. Harris was set to join the Steelers practice squad on Sunday when he got the news. Harris left the locker room and is now on his way to North Carolina to join his new team.
