Steelers wide receiver Santonio Holmes has waived his right to a preliminary hearing on a misdemeanor marijuana charge stemming from his October traffic stop. Holmes didn\’t comment after his short appearance in Pittsburgh City Court. The decision now means Holmes must stand trial on the misdemeanor charge, or work out some kind of plea agreement with Allegheny County prosecutors. He remains free on bond at this time.
