On Thursday the big news was that QB Ben Roethlisberger (right shoulder) did not practice for the second straight day with an injured shoulder. Head coach Mike Tomlin said he still feels that Roethlisberger will be ready to play on Sunday night when the Steelers travel to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars. Also sitting out on Thursday were, LB Patrick Bailey (hamstring), RB Carey Davis (ankle) and DE Nick Eason (groin) and it is looking more and more like Davis will be out. LB Andre Frazier (concussion) and LB James Harrison (quadricep) were limited on Thursday and LB Keyaron Fox (back), WR Santonio Holmes (neck) and S Troy Polamalu (quadricep) all practiced fully after resting on Wednesday.
