Season 13, Episode 106 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the latest news concerning Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, who has now made it known that he requested a trade in early March.
The Steelers have had a few more signings since our last episode so Alex and recap all those transactions. We talk about tight end Zach Gentry re-signing and what his contract might look like. We also discuss the Steelers signing free agent tackle Le’Raven Clark and go over the details of his one-year contract. We also discuss what the tape says about Clark.
The details related to the one-year contract that former Steelers safety Terrell Edmunds signed are now known so Alex and I discuss his deal and if Pittsburgh made any sort of effort to re-sign him.
Former Steelers outside linebacker Bud Dupree is reportedly visiting Pittsburgh so Alex and I discuss that news and what a contract offer to him might look like if the team decides they want to sign him in the coming days.
Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin is out in Arizona this week for the annual NFL owners’ meetings so we discuss what all he has had to say to the media since Sunday night. There are quite a few topics to discuss based on all that Tomlin said so we make sure to be thorough in this segment.
We talk tackle arm length related to Steelers draft picks in this show and go over some arm lengths of players in this year’s draft class. We make sure to address some recent pro day signings in this show as well.
We answer a few listener questions late in this show to close things out. We mix in other Steelers talk throughout this episode that is not noted in this recap post.
