Season 10, Episode 79 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can and in this Tuesday show, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the appearance that Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin made on ‘First Take’ on Monday. We discuss Tomlin’s defense of quarterback Mason Rudolph from the renewed racial slur allegations made by Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett, his comments on former wide receiver Antonio Brown, the health of quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and more.
Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert also addressed the media since our last podcast so Alex and I make sure to spend a lot of time recapping his main talking points. That includes us discuss the Steelers quarterback and running back depth charts and need at those two positions as well as what might be in store for tight end Vance McDonald and inside linebacker Ryan Shazier early in the offseason.
I released my first Steelers mock draft of 2020 since our last show so Alex and I go over it from top to bottom during this Tuesday episode. Alex reveals what he likes and doesn’t like about my mock draft and more.
Late in this show Alex and I pass along the breaking Tuesday news of the Steelers hiring of Ike Hilliard to be the team’s new wide receivers coach. We quickly give our initial thoughts on his hiring.
Alex and I finally close out this Tuesday show by answering several email questions we received from listeners.
