Season 10, Episode 61 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can and in this Friday show, Alex Kozora and I start by going over the designated-to-return moves made by the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday and what they mean and why they were made.
The Steelers Thursday injury report had a few updates included on it so Alex and I review it and go over the players likely to be given game status designations on Friday.
Steelers outside linebacker T.J. Watt was voted team MVP on Thursday so we discuss that topic in addition to talking about which players are likely to win The Joe Greene and The Chief awards on Friday. That meas a lot of talk about rookies Devin Bush and Diontae Johnson.
Steeler coordinators Randy Fichtner and Keith Butler both talked to the media on Thursday so Alex and I make sure to discuss the main talking points from their sessions.
Alex and I are then joined on the podcast once again by John Eisenberg, who covers the Baltimore Ravens for the team’s official website. As usual, we get John’s thoughts on the Ravens as they enter their final regular season game of 2019 against the Steelers with the No. 1 seed in the AFC locked up. We talk which players will be rested on Sunday by head coach John Harbaugh and talk some offense and defense with John. John also tells us how far he expects Baltimore to go in the playoffs. We close out our interview with him by getting his prediction for the Sunday game in Baltimore against the Steelers.
If not already doing so, please follow John on Twitter at @BMoreEisenberg and make sure to read his work online here. John has also published several books to date that we highly encourage you to check out and you can do just that on Amazon at this link https://amzn.to/2pnwOtg
After talking some with John about the Ravens, Alex and I move on to give our final thoughts on the Steelers Sunday regular season finale.
Alex and I finally close out this Friday show with our weekly picks of all the Week 17 games and then follow that up by answering several email questions we received from listeners.
