And here are the camp totals across all 11 practices.

Total (Practices #1-11)

Quarterbacks

Mason Rudolph: 86/136 (63.2%), 626 yards (7.3 YPC) 19 TDs 6 INTs
Josh Dobbs:
60/114(52.6%), 590 yards (9.8 YPC) 11 TDs 6 INTs
Ben Roethlisberger:
 74/108 (68.5%) 695 yards (9.4 YPC) 19 TDs 1 INT
Devlin Hodges: 52/75 (69.3%) 489 yards (9.4 YPC) 5 TDs 2 INTs

– Positive numbers across the board. Crazy that Devlin Hodges is #1 in completion percentage and tied with Ben Roethlisberger in yards per completion. His INT rate is second only to Roethlisberger, too. What he’s done in practice earned him that long look in the preseason opener atypical of a #4 quarterback.

Running Backs

Benny Snell: 41 carries 193 yards, 1 TD (4.7 YPC)
Jaylen Samuels:
26 carries 58 yards, 1 TD (2.2 YPC)
Trey Edmunds:
24 carries 68 yards, 1 TD (2.8 YPC)
Malik Williams:
20 carries 84 yards, 1 TD (4.2 YPC)
Ralph Webb:
19 carries 111 yards, 1 TD (5.8 YPC)
Travon McMillian: 16 carries 58 yards (3.6 YPC)
James Conner: 16 carries 42 yards, 1 TD (2.5 YPC)
Ryan Switzer: 2 carries 15 yards (7.5 YPC)
Diontae Spencer: 2 carries -2 yards (-1 YPC)
Diontae Johnson:1 carry 15 yards (15 YPC)
Roosevelt Nix:
 1 carry 4 yards (4 YPC)

– Numbers haven’t changed significantly with just two practices of new data. Snell has 15 more carries than the next closest player. Fact Conner has only 16 shows how careful they’ve been with him.

Wide Receivers

JuJu Smith-Schuster: 30/50 353 yards 8 TDs – 60%
James Washington: 22/42 227 yards 6 TDs – 52.4%
Tevin Jones: 23/36 193 yards 4 TDs  – 63.9%
Diontae Spencer: 21/34 301 yards 3 TDs – 61.8%
Vance McDonald: 16/25 124 yards 4 TDs – 64%
Ryan Switzer: 19/24 119 yards 4 TDs – 79.2%
Kevin Rader: 14/22 99 yards 2 TDs – 63.6%
Diontae Johnson: 14/20 101 yards 2 TDs – 70%
Donte Moncrief: 13/18 125 yards 2 TDs – 72.2%
Eli Rogers: 11/16 108 yards 2 TDs – 68.8%
Jaylen Samuels: 13/15 55 yards 1 TD – 86.7%
Xavier Grimble: 10/15 58 yards 5 TDs – 66.7%
Trey Griffey: 10/14 121 yards – 71.3%
Zach Gentry: 7/13 64 yards 1 TD – 53.8%
James Conner: 9/12 33 yards 3 TDs – 75%
Benny Snell: 7/9 49 yards 1 TD – 77.8%
Trevor Wood: 7/9 49 yards – 77.8%
Trey Edmunds: 8/9 28 yards – 88.9%
Christian Scotland-Williamson: 4/8 53 yards 1 TD – 50%
Ralph Webb: 5/8 35 yards, 1 TD – 62.5%
Johnny Holton: 6/7 156 yards 1 TD – 85.7%
Brandon Reilly: 4/7 18 yards 1 TD – 57.1%
Travon McMillian: 2/3 18 yards – 66.7%
Malik Williams: 2/3 17 yards – 66.7%
Roosevelt Nix: 2/2 26 yards – 100%

– JuJu leading the team in receptions, targets, yards, and touchdowns, all things he should do during the regular season.

– With one stellar practice, Holton – despite just six receptions – has the 5th most receiving yards.

– Holton aside, Spencer leads the team averaging more than 14 yards per catch.

– Grimble has made plays in seven shots, half of his receptions have found the end zone, but he’s yet to make many plays downfield.

– Tevin Jones, as you’ll see below, has been much more active lately but the four drops are pretty ugly. Had one in the preseason game, too.
