JuJu Smith-Schuster might claim he’s on good terms with Antonio Brown. I’m not sure AB feels the same way. In yet another tweet from Brown, even with him getting his wish and traded, he took his clearest shot at JuJu yet with this tweet.
Emotion: boy fumbled the whole post season in the biggest game of year ! Everyone went blind to busy making guys famous not enough reality these days ! 🤙🏾 by the way check the list https://t.co/2SWWT8k0jx

Brown is of course referring to Smith-Schuster’s fumble against the New Orleans Saints, ending the game and thwarting a potential comeback. That put the Steelers’ destiny out of their hands, relying on the Cleveland Browns to beat the Baltimore Ravens Week 17 to get Pittsburgh into the playoffs. That didn’t happen and they missed the postseason for the first time in years.
While it was a costly play, one that Smith-Schuster was clearly distraught over, it was just one play in a long season. The idea you can point to any one play – or player – for the reason why a team who started 7-2-1 collapsed is idiotic and everyone knows it.
Brown isn’t a stranger to crucial fumbles either. As Dave Bryan pointed out, AB fumbled on a 4th quarter punt return, Steelers leading by seven, recovered by the Dallas Cowboys. They’d tie the game up and win in overtime. It dropped the team to 7-7 on the year, finishing the year at 8-8 and missing out on the playoffs.
Later during the 2012 season, @AB84 had this gem of a fumble in what would eventually turn out to be a #Steelers loss to the #Cowboys. Pittsburgh was up 7 at the time in the 4th and that fumble led to a Dallas TD. https://t.co/N7t12SHECr

I guess @AB84 forgets about this key fumble he had with the #Steelers against the #Raiders in 2012. Maybe he was trying to impress owner Mark Davis by helping Oakland win that game. https://t.co/gS2KywfEWt

Earlier in the offseason, Brown took a more subtle jab at Smith-Schuster, tweeting not to believe anyone who hasn’t been paid. That came in response to this tweet where JuJu praised playing with Roethlisberger.
I was so blessed to enter the league and play with a Hall of Fame QB as a 20-year old. Ben has taught me so much, he’s a true Leader and I can’t wait to rock with my guy this season. pic.twitter.com/Atei8eDiZC

This offseason has been the dumbest and I can’t wait for it to be over. Sure you feel the same.
UPDATE: JuJu’s answered back albeit in a more subtle way.
Keep your emotions off the internet

And now gotten a little more specific, justifiably frustrated by AB’s tweet and words.
All I ever did was show that man love and respect from the moment I got to the league. I was genuinely happy for him too when he got traded to Oakland w/ a big contract, and now he takes shots at me on social media?

Crazy how big that ego got to be to take shots at people who show you love! Smh
