The NFL will release the full 2019 schedule later this evening and already a few reported leaks are beginning to surface regarding games the Pittsburgh Steelers will play.
According to two separate people who cover the New England Patriots, the Steelers will open their 2019 regular season on the road against the defending Super Bowl champions on a Sunday night.
This year will mark the fifth-consecutive regular season in which the Steelers and Patriots have played each other. Last season, the Steelers beat the Patriots 17-10 at Heinz Field in Week 15.
The last time the Steelers opened a regular season against the Patriots was in 2015 when they played New England in Foxboro on a Thursday night. The Patriots won that game 28-21.
