Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown has just left the Sunday game against the New England Patriots with some sort of left leg injury.
Brown was injured early in the second quarter after failing to catch a deep pass in the end zone from quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
After being helped off the field, Brown walked to the locker room and was accompanied by team doctors. He was walking gingerly, according to reports.
Brown recorded his 100th catch of the season in the first quarter of the game. The Steelers curretly lead the Patriots 10-7.
Brown is now reportedly undergoing x-rays on his left leg per CBS. Steelers say Brown is questionable to return with a calf injury.
UPDATE: Brown will be taken to the hospital for further evaluation of his calf injury, per the Steelers. He will not return to today’s game.
