Steelers 2017 Draft Class Have Been Assigned Their Jersey Numbers

The Pittsburgh Steelers entire 2017 draft class has now been issued their initial jersey numbers.

According to the team, first-round draft pick outside linebacker T.J. Watt will indeed wear No. 90 and that’s not subject to change.

Wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, the team’s second-round draft pick this year, will start off with No. 13 and that’s subject to change, according to the team release. The Steelers first of two third-round selections, cornerback Cameron Sutton, will start off with No. 20.

Running back James Conner, a Pittsburgh product, will wear No. 30 and that appears to be set in stone. It was believed that Conner would wind up with No. 24, the number he wore at the University of Pittsburgh, back that turned out to not be the case.

Quarterback Joshua Dobbs, the Steelers fourth-round selection this year, will start off wearing No. 5, which was previously worn for a while by former quarterback Bruce Gradkowski.

Cornerback Brian Allen, the Steelers fifth-round selection this year out of Utah, has been initially issued No. 29.

Long snapper Colin Holba, the Steelers sixth-round selection this year, was given No. 49 and outside linebacker Keion Adams, the team’s seventh-round selection in 2017, will begin his career in Pittsburgh with No. 99, which was previously worn by former defensive end Brett Keisel.

Please keep in mind that all but Watt and Conner are subject to have their numbers changed moving forward.
