Schefter: Steelers Re-Sign James Harrison To Two Year Deal

Big news out of Pittsburgh. ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting the Pittsburgh Steelers have re-signed James Harrison to a two year deal worth $3.5 million.

Harrison’s agent recently confirmed the linebacker wanted to return to Pittsburgh and the expectation has been a deal would get done in the near future. The money seems to be relatively light too despite Harrison pulling in back-to-back strong seasons.

The deal will sign him through his age 40 season. Last year, he recorded five sacks for the Steelers to lead all outside linebackers. He is the franchise leader with 79.5 career sacks.
