7-6 Steelers lead and they get ball. Here We Go!
Ben Roethlisberger starts things out terribly, missing David Johnson and throwing a pick to Zach Orr on the first play of the half.
Ravens make the Steelers pay with Joe Flacco hitting Steve Smith down the seam on 3rd down. They go for two and convert again to Smith, going up 14-7 with 90 seconds gone in the second half.
Offense getting back in gear. Roethlisberger finds Eli Rogers on an over route for a big pickup to get deep into Ravens’ territory. The Steelers’ drive ends after Big Ben can’t find Antonio Brown in the end zone but Chris Boswell hits a 36 yard field goal to clean things up. Ravens lead 14-10.
Ravens run all over the Steelers that drive, nearly getting down to the ten before a hold creates a 1st and 20. Steelers able to get off the field. Justin Tucker ends things with his third field goal of the day, pushing the Ravens’ lead to seven, 17-10.
Roethlisberger forces another throw and sends his second pick of the day to a Ravens’ linebacker, C.J. Mosley, who returns it to the Steelers’ 28. End of three, Ravens up 17-10.
The defense holds in a big moment, forcing the Ravens to settle for a field goal after Darren Waller drops a pass on 3rd and goal. Tucker hits from 23 yards out.
After a pass interference against Tavon Young gives the Steelers a big play, Le’Veon Bell cuts back and runs in to make it a 20-17 game. Baltimore ball.
Despite Chris Boswell kicking the ball out of bounds again, the Ravens go three and out.
Le’Veon Bell busts out two long runs and the Steelers are on the move. Big gainer on a draw on second and 10. After 26 and 21 yard gains to Antonio Brown, Bell takes a scramble drill checkdown from Ben and gets shoved into the end zone by the OL, scoring from 7 yards out. Just like that, Steelers back on top, 24-20.
The Ravens go on a 14 play, 75 yard drive ending with a Kyle Kuszczyk 10 yard touchdown run. Ravens on top 27-24 with 1:18 left.
