2016 NFL Week 16: Steelers Friday Night Five Questions

Steelers Depot Friday Night Five Questions

Happy Friday to all of you and welcome to Christmas weekend.

It’s hard to believe that it’s been 44 years since the Immaculate Reception took place in Pittsburgh. That one play will likely continue to be talked about until the end of time. It never gets old watching it over and over again this time of year and especially on the anniversary of it.

Man, puppies are challenging. It’s so hard to get a steady stream of writing or film watching done while they are awake. As I am typing this, however, little Finley Pearl is napping and it’s amazing my one finger hunt and peck typing hasn’t woken her up. I also have to go to the bathroom right now but I am afraid to get up as she’s just five feet away from me. I need some adult diapers.

We are now just a few days away from the Pittsburgh Steelers hosting the Baltimore Ravens on Christmas night and it sure would be great to see the home team clinch the AFC North in their all-black Color Rush uniforms. If the Steelers offense shows up on Sunday, I certainly like the chances of that happening. How great would it be to see the Ravens not make the playoffs for a second consecutive year?

As usual, I have five questions for you to answer on this December Friday evening and I hope I picked some good ones for you this week. I look forward to several of you entertaining me with your answers to them all in the comments below. Don’t forget the bonus question, either.

Have a great holiday weekend and we look forward to entertaining all of you on Christmas day.

Go Steelers!

1 – Which Steelers’ rookie should win the team’s annual Rookie of the Year Award? Also, please rank the three players in the running for it.

2 – Assuming all three players wind up sitting out Sunday’s game, which one will be the biggest loss between Stephon Tuitt, Ladarius Green and Jimmy Smith?

3 – It looks like rookie wide receiver Demarcus Ayers will finally see his first NFL action on Sunday so with that, predict his total amount of snaps played in the game along with his final stat line.

4 – Which Steelers player do you consider the biggest Pro Bowl snub this year?

5 – Assuming they ultimately make the playoffs as the No. 3 seed or lower, which team would you most like to see the Steelers play in the Wild Card Round?

Bonus – How many touchdown passes will Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger throw Sunday against the Ravens?
