Giants Injury Report: Three Players Sit Out Wednesday’s Practice

The New York Giants have now wrapped up their Wednesday practice ahead of their Sunday road game against the Pittsburgh Steelers and their first injury report of Week 13 shows that three players missed practice.

Not practicing Wednesday for the Giants were safety Nat Berhe (concussion), linebacker Mark Herzlick (concussion) and defensive end Owamagbe Odighizuwa (knee) All three players were injured in the Giants win this past Sunday over the Cleveland Browns. Berhe is a starter, while Herzlick and Odighizuwa are both backup players who play quite a bit on special teams.

Limited for the Giants on Wednesday were wide receiver Dwayne Harris (wrist), center Brett Jones (calf), tackle Marshall Newhouse (knee) and guard Justin Pugh (knee). Pugh has missed the last three games with his knee injury while Newhouse missed the game last Sunday against the Browns also because of a knee injury.

Last week against the Browns, Adam Gettis started at left guard again in place of Pugh while Bobby Hart started at right tackle in place of Newhouse.

The Giants offensive line has only allowed quarterback Eli Manning to be sacked a total of 13 times entering Week 13.
