Season 7, Episode 11 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Monday show, David Todd and I get right to discussing the Pittsburgh Steelers final round of roster cuts in addition to our thoughts on the team trading for cornerback Justin Gilbert on Saturday.
We give our full thoughts on Gilbert as it relates to his upside and potential in addition to the team’s decision to part ways with cornerback Doran Grant, the team’s fourth-round draft pick last year.
The Steelers placed outside linebacker Bud Dupree on Reserve/Injured on Sunday so we discuss that move in addition to the team looking like they’ll carry injured cornerback Senquez Golson on the 53-man roster until he’s ready to return to action.
We talk about the decision to bounce linebacker Steven Johnson off and back on the 53-man roster and how the team has several players they can now shuttle back and forth to the practice squad should the need arise.
We give our best guesses as to what the Steelers inactive list might look like next Monday night as well.
Will the Steelers add another tight end in the coming days, or will they stick with Xavier Grimble for the time being? We discuss those options as well.
At the end of this show, David and I give our concerns about the 2016 Steelers and lay out our plans for the final two episodes this week.
