Season 6, Episode 102 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and in this Monday show, Alex Kozora sits in again for co-host David Todd and we immediately begin talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers decision to part ways with cornerback Cortez Allen on Friday.
Alex and I not only discuss the timing of Allen’s Friday releases but other factors as well in addition to the possibility of him declining to take a pay cut. We discuss the salary cap ramifications and whether or not Allen will wind up signing elsewhere in the near future.
The Houston Texans will reportedly part ways with quarterback Brian Hoyer this week so Alex and I discuss whether or not the Steelers should try to sign him to serve as the team’s backup for the next few seasons.
CBS Sports analyst Dane Brugler released a full seven-round mock draft on Sunday so Alex and I go over each and every selection he made for the Steelers.
Alex also fills you in on a few players that he recently profiled on the site and we end the show by talking about a few stories that steelers.com posted over the weekend.
As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here in this post.
