Garvin had visited with Washington and the Tennessee Titans.

One of the team’s best special teamers, Garvin recorded nine tackles in 12 games in 2015. His most notable play came when he broke Cincinnatti Bengals punter Kevin Huber’s jaw in 2014. Let’s look at it one last time.

He finishes his three year Steelers career with 36. After entering the league as a tryout candidate, he worked his way onto the team, roster, and active lineup.

The Steelers now only have three inside linebacker with extensive experience on the roster and will be a position they are certain to address some point in the NFL Draft.
