The Pittsburgh Steelers re-signed guard Ramon Foster on Wednesday on now we know the details of the three-year contract.
According to Aditi Kinkhabwala of the NFL Network, Foster’s contract totals out at $9.6 million and included a $2.75 million signing bonus.
Wow. I had Foster pegged at a market value of $5 million a season and this deal comes in at $3.2 million a year. Could Foster have gotten more on the open market? Perhaps, but there’s no doubt that he wanted to end his career with the Steelers.
Foster will earnĀ $4.25 million in 2016.
Typical Steelers deal for vet stalwart G Ramon Foster. Guarantee is just $2.75M, or… his signing bonus. Whole deal is $9.6M over 3 years
