Free Agency March Madness: Steelers Friday Night Five Questions

Happy Friday to all of you once again and welcome to the weekend.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have made quite a bit of news since last Friday and most of it revolves around them losing unrestricted free agents to other teams. In fact, at the time of this post, six of the Steelers 15 unrestricted free agents have now signed with other teams and I can’t recall the last time I saw those kind of numbers and especially this early on in the offseason. At some point, I think we can expect cornerback Brandon Boykin to be a former Steeler player as well.

The Steelers were also very visible at quite a few of the pro days that took place this past week and we now already know a few of the players that they have scheduled for pre-draft visits. I’m guessing the Steelers news cycle will start slowing down next week and it will mostly be centered around pro days.

As usual, I have five questions for you on this Friday evening and hopefully several of you will take some time to shoot me your answers in the comments below.

Have a great weekend and peace and love to all of you.

1 – With Martavis Bryant now suspended for the entire 2016 season and Markus Wheaton likely signing elsewhere next offseason as an unrestricted free agent, should the Steelers seriously consider selecting another wide receiver this year in the first four rounds of the 2016 NFL Draft? With that question in mind, let me share a tweet with you that was sent to me a few days ago.

2 – The Jacksonville Jaguars signed tackle Kelvin Beachum to a contract this week and it’s essentially a one-year deal with a four-year, $40 million team option. Do you expect Beachum to play well enough in 2016 to warrant the Jaguars picking that option up?

3 – What do you dislike the most about Baylor defensive tackle Andrew Billings, who the Steelers spent a lot of time with this past week at his pro day?

4 – Who is the most overrated cornerback in this year’s draft class?

5 – True or false: The Steelers will draft one safety and one cornerback in the first three rounds of the draft?
