Below are the initial player snap counts from the Pittsburgh Steelers Friday night preseason loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to the NFL official gamebook. As usual, we will see if any of these differ in our weekly game charting as the week progresses.
Once again, there really aren’t any big surprises being as this was a preseason game. However, I should note that linebacker Jordan Zumwalt failed to log any special teams snaps Friday night after logging 15 in the first preseason game. Maybe this was a result of his groin issue that popped up late in the week.
Tajh Boyd (healthy), Bruce Gradkowski (shoulder/PUP), Senquez Golson (shoulder/PUP), Mike Adams (back/PUP), Robert Golden (knee), Ross Ventrone (leg), Daniel McCullers (hamstring), Vince Williams (hamstring) and Lawrence Timmons (toe) did not play Friday night.
