Season 5, Episode 123 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and with Alex Kozora still sitting in for David Todd, we open the show by recapping the Pittsburgh Steelers mandatory minicamp that wrapped up Thursday. This includes us looking ahead to training camp from an injury standpoint and refreshing your memory on the PUP rules.
Terrelle Pryor is back in the news following his recent release so we dedicate a little time to him and whether or not the Steelers will put in a claim for him.
We move on to talk a little bit about defensive end Ethan Hemer and wide receiver Eli Rogers as both figure to be candidates for the Steelers practice squad this year.
Wide receiver Markus Wheaton is expected to see his playing time in the slot increase this season so we go over what that will entail. Did Matt Williamson of ESPN.com undersell Wheaton and oversell rookie wide receiver Sammie Coates in one of his recent articles? We give you our thoughts.
We once again touch on tackle Kelvin Beachum as it relates to his contract situation and that leads to us reviewing the Steelers run stats to the left side last season. You might be surprised to hear some of the numbers we rattle off.
The show ends with Alex giving you his All-AFC North selections.
As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here.
