2015 Salary Cap

Steelers Salary Cap: Looking Ahead At Doran Grant’s Rookie Contract

The Pittsburgh Steelers drafted Ohio State cornerback Doran Grant Saturday in the fourth-round of the 2015 NFL Draft and now that he has been selected, we can look ahead to what his four-year rookie contract might look like.

Grant’s deal should total out at roughly $2.705 million and include a signing bonus in the neighborhood of $425,000. That would make his 2015 cap charge around $541,300.

It shouldn’t take the Steelers long to get Grant signed being as his first-year cap charge will barely move the salary cap needle. As soon as he does sign and the deal is filed with the NFLPA, I’ll make sure to pass along all of the numbers to you along with the yearly cap charges.
