Season 5, Episode 102 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and with David Todd unable to go today, Alex Kozora is sitting in for him.
This show opens up with Alex and I talking about Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown deciding to not to show up for Phase One of the team’s offseason program that got underway on Monday as he is looking fore a new contract now after putting up tremendous back-to-back season. We not only discuss his decision, but also how we think things might ultimately play out with him.
We also talk about how the Steelers decision to bring in several top-rated wide receivers for visits ahead of the 2015 NFL Draft is probably not related to Brown’s contract situation.
After talking about Brown, Alex and I discuss the three cornerbacks that the Steelers brought in for visits on Monday. In addition to talking about them, Alex tells us why he now has Connecticut’s Byron Jones as his No. 2 cornerback behind Marcus Peters with draft now right around the corner.
In addition to talking about a few of the top-rated edge rushers in this year’s draft class, Alex and I attempt to come up with about six players who might ultimately be the Steelers first-round selection.
As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here.
