Celebrating Polamalu: Steelers Friday Night Five Questions

Steelers Depot Friday Night Five Questions

Happy Friday and I hope that all of you had a tremendous week like I did.

Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu has decided to retire, so this week’s five question session will be dedicated entirely to him. He certainly did provide all of us a ton of great memories during his 12 years ion Pittsburgh.

If you will, please take time to answer each question in the comments below. Feel free to also add a story or two about Polamalu if you have one.

As usual, I’d like to thank everyone for visiting the site this week and we hope you enjoyed the content that was provided for you. Have a great weekend and peace and love to all of you.

1 – Other than an interception, please tell me the first play that comes to your mind when you think about Polamalu.

2 – What year or game did Polamalu go from being a good safety to a great one?

3 – Now that it looks like Shamarko Thomas will be the starter next to Mike Mitchell in 2015, please tell me how many turnovers he will be responsible for via interceptions or forced fumbles.

4 – Do you think the Steelers handled Polamalu’s final weeks correctly, or should they have released him right after the start of the new league year?

5 – What one or two words best describe Polamalu’s career?

Bonus – What yard-line did Polamalu’s first career interception occur?
