Season 5, Episode 85 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and with David Todd get right into talking about the upcoming trade between the Philadelphia Eagles and Buffalo Bills that involves running back LeSean McCoy and linebacker Kiko Alonso. The Eagles made more news Tuesday by parting ways with cornerback Cary Williams and outside linebacker Trent Cole and we explain how that’s worth watching as a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Will the Eagles try to re-sign outside linebacker Brandon Graham with the extra salary cap space they’ve created, or will they let him walk and go after Steelers outside linebacker Jason Worilds? we tie all of that together for you.
David and I move on to talk about the recent release of wide receiver Lance Moore and why defensive ends Brett Keisel and Cam Thomas might be around and on the roster for a while longer. After talking about the Steelers current salary cap situation thoroughly, David and I discuss Steelers safety Troy Polamalu and whether or not he’ll still be on the roster one week from today.
We also discuss whether or not the Steelers will get their three restricted free agents and several of there other unrestricted free agents re-signed by the next Tuesday evening, which is the start of the new league year.
