Season 5, Episode 86 of The Terrible Podcast is now up and David Todd get right into talking about the early news as it relates to free agency as several players have already agreed to new deals with teams ahead of the new league year which begins Tuesday evening.
With several edge rushers already agreeing to deals with new teams, David and I look at the numbers and wonder what it will mean for Pittsburgh Steelers soon-to-be unrestricted free agent linebacker Jason Worilds.
Will the Steelers get several of their own restricted and unrestricted free agents back under contract before Tuesday evening? We discuss that as well as what the list of unsigned free agents at a few positions from around the league currently looks like. It’s not pretty.
Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert released a statement about safety Troy Polamalu on Monday to basically say that there is no news to report. That was a bit curious so it gets a few minutes of our time.
As always, several other smaller talking points are mixed in throughout the show that are not highlighted here.
