Report: Steelers To Visit With Saints CB Patrick Robinson Over Weekend

The Pittsburgh Steelers signed their first outside free agent on Friday in running back DeAngelo Williams and now it appears though another free agent that the team has already been linked to will be coming to town for a visit as well.

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, New Orleans Saints free agent cornerback Patrick Robinson will be visiting with the Steelers this weekend.

Several days ago, Josina Anderson of ESPN reported that the Steelers were one of several teams interested in the former first round draft pick out of Florida State.

The Steelers are now looking for a backup cornerback after losing unrestricted free agent Brice McCain to the Miami Dolphins earlier in the week.

In his five years with the Saints, Robinson started 33 regular season games and recorded a total of 150 tackles and nine interceptions with 46 passes defensed.
